Short biography: 

Graziano Halilovic is the chairman of Romà Onlus, an NGO established in 2008 in Rome. 
Since his youth Graziano Halilovic is an active member of his community and determined to become a linguistic and intercultural mediator.
During the early years of his career he attended several courses for mediators promoted by several local and national institutions such as the one promoted by the Ministry of Education (1996/1999), the Ministry of the Interior (2001/2002) and the Province of Rome (2004/2005).
Through training and experiences in the field heacquires a deep knowledge of cultural mediation work in different sectors such as health, education and assistance to migrant people and unaccompanied migrant minors. Following he takes part as a trainer in courses promoted by the Province of Rome (course for mediators - 2004/5), the Migration of the police headquarters in Rome (course for mediators - 2006), ERRC (course on human rights for young Roma and Sinti - 2011).
In 2012 takes part in the project as a trainer COMIN. ROM, the initiative aims to improve the knowledge of public decision-makers about roma issues.

He has been project manager in several projects in the social, educational and cultural sectors at local, national and international level. He is the secretary and a founder member of Federazione Romanì (Italian Romany Federation). As Romà Onlus president he is a member of Ternype (International roma youth networtk) and RGDTS (Rom-gadje dialogue through service).
